Where's Eric was performed at the Bakehouse Theatre in January 2001.

Written by local author Wayne Anthoney, the play is about what Godot's doing while everybody's waiting for him. He is an arts grants administrator, buried in paperwork and utterly incompetent.

Peter Davies played Godot, and Erica Richards his put-upon secretary. Hamish McIntyre was side-splittingly funny as an office mate and Colleen McComish was a fiery mother of Estragon. Alice Teasdale directed.

Behind a scrim, Vladimir and Estragon waited on stage for the duration of the play, while Godot became colder and colder in his office as papers piled up, coffee never seemed to get made and time never seemed to progress.
