Edward
wakes each morning to his mother’s “Rise and shine!”.
Each morning he looks at the same corner where ceiling intersects with
wall, and is numbed by the repetition of his dull life. At
last, inspiration strikes - installation art in his own bedroom as he
marks each day on the wall like a prisoner. But
then his mother tries to help... Still Life won the
Zoom craft award for Best Original Screenplay, as well as receiving a
special commendation for directing. Alice Teasdale wrote
and directed the film, and Scott Venner was again the Director of
Photography. The cast included
Michael Finney as Edward, Bridget Walters as Mum and Scott Harrison as the
guy at the next computer. Rowen Fox composed an
original and compelling score for the film, and Dan Monceax was the sound
editor.
